Auto industry has highest engagement rate with Facebook Hashtags
A new study released by Simply Measured this week showed that the automotive industry receives the highest level of engagement from Facebook hashtags. Unfortunately, the engagement levels for the other industries in the study are no where near as high as the automotive segment.
The ability to share photos, videos and customer stories all contributes to the high level of activity.
The top automotive brands receiving the most engagement within the top 10 most active brands were:
- Ferrari
- Mercedes-Benz
- BMW
- Audi
The top 100 brands mentioned in the sudy are consistently posting content, at least 1.5 posts per day on average.
This is a very strong proof that hashtags should be included in your social media content even at the dealership level. The activity and engagement is coming from those who someday wish to own these vehicles and those loyal, passionate owners as well.
