Chevrolet Dealership Salesman Stabs Co-Worker

A tragic story out of California has dealership employee behind bars after reportedly stabbing his co-worker.

Fernando Jose Galarza, 30, was arrested October 31 at Mark Christopher Chevrolet in Ontario, CA after police say he stabbed his co-worker, another salesman in the stomach several times. Galarza, from Riverside, CA was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The knife may be he found at the scene of the crime.

Sergeant Jeff Higbee with the Ontario police department, described the scene telling the Daily Bulletin, “Officers arrived on scene and detained the suspect who used a small knife to stab his co-worker.” There are no indications as to what caused the two men to get into an altercation. The victim, whose name has not been released, was reportedly stabbed two to three times in the stomach area and then taken to Arrowhead Medical center and is expected to recover from the attack.

It’s unfortunate to note another stabbing between dealership staff occurred back in March 2015. The incident took place when Douglas Cooke, from Ingersoll auto of Danbury, Connecticut attacked both a co-worker and police with a sheetrock knife, after a dispute reportedly arose over construction on the building. The injuries to the officer and co-worker were not considered to be life threatening.
