Twitter Launches Consulting Program For Marketers

Twitter is launching a new program to encourage more businesses to use the platform to reach customers in effective ways. The “Official Partner Program” is a new initiative that is intended to bring together partners from Twitter’s Certified Program and its Marketing Platform Partner program who “have been recognized by Twitter because of their high-quality products or expert-level services and proven success on Twitter.”

The new program is a consulting tool that involves trusted third parties and helps pair advertisers with partners like IBM, Brand Networks and Simply Measured. “IBM is the first solutions provider that provides strategic insight, consulting and analytics to help brands and enterprises make decisions with Twitter data,” explained Twitter in a blog post. “Twitter and IBM have worked to train more than 10,000 IBM employees on Twitter data and analytics best practices.”

In Twitter’s program, Official Partners will help brands to scale and manage their Twitter campaigns, as well as assisting them with using Twitter’s marketing analytics tools to help them better understand how well their marketing efforts are doing on the social media platform. Twitter assures that only the “highest-quality solutions” will be used for the Official Partners Program, and that it can help “marketers, advertisers and brands.”

Managing social media campaigns, whether on Twitter or on other platforms, can be very challenging for dealerships and other SMBs to do effectively, making the Official Partners program a worthy consideration for many businesses.
